“The Power of the avant-garde” was an exhibition in The Felix Jasienski Szolayski House in Cracow, organized during a centennial anniversary of the avant-garde in Poland. Abstract exhibition furniture opposed a bourgeois character of the interiors with polychrome wall paintings.

The artworks got an abstract background, yet following the exhibition’s trope. Display tools were finished in a pale pink stucco – a color that corresponded with an existing palette of the interior, but also with a history of exhibiting the avant-garde. The first Le Corbusier exhibition in Museum of Modern Art in New York was presented on the same background.
